One Year of Food

What does one year of food look like?  What recipes can I make with my food storage?

When asked how much food storage they have, people so often reply, "I think I have six months' worth, but I could probably stretch it to 12 if I had to."  Ha!  That's adorable, but that's not an answer.  When are you going to start rationing and "stretching" that food?  Tomorrow?
